ABOUT JORGE FRAILE PEREZ
As an Undergraduate System Administrator with the Florida State University Department of Computer Science, I support Linux and Windows environments serving 200+ users through incident management, ticketing workflows, hardware and network troubleshooting, and routine system maintenance. My work includes incident response, queue management, root-cause analysis, endpoint support, and basic network administration to ensure reliable and secure system operations. I also serve as the AWS Campus Leader at Florida State University, part of the AWS Global University Program. In this role I drive AWS awareness and adoption on campus through presentations, tabling events, class announcements, and peer-to-peer outreach, with a focus on connecting students with cloud learning opportunities and AWS programs. Separately, I serve as a DevOps Project Manager with the AWS Cloud Club at FSU, where I lead student teams in building cloud-based solutions using AWS and help coordinate infrastructure, deployment, and technical collaboration. I also work as a Communications Assistant with the ColorStack Chapter at FSU, supporting outreach and helping connect students with career and professional development opportunities in tech. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Florida State University, with a focus on cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and systems engineering. My goal is to continue building practical experience designing scalable, reliable systems and contributing to modern cloud-driven environments.
