About Jorge Flores
I’m not your average safety guy.I grew up cleaning buses before school, trained by a father who believed in responsibility at sunrise. From my family’s public transit business in Guadalajara to running Super Bowl-level operations in the U.S, I’ve lived every angle of this industry.I’ve been a driver, a dispatcher, a GM, a safety executive. I’ve built teams from scratch, taken over broken ones, and helped grow a startup into one of America’s top transit companies. I’ve seen toxic leadership—and chosen the harder, better road every time: lead with love, protect your people, and demand respect for the frontline.Today, I lead safety across the Southwest and SoCal regions for one of the largest transit contractors in the country. I build safety cultures that work because they’re built with the people, not on them.I speak safety, but I lead with story. I’m an aspiring author, a coach, a cancer survivor, and a proud dad. And I’m just getting started.Let’s connect especially if you believe culture eats compliance for breakfast.
