As I finished my fourth semester of college, I realized I still haven’t worked a real job and needed real work experience aside from my volunteer activities. As soon as I returned home, I aggressively applied for all kinds of commercial jobs in my area and quickly landed a team member position at my local Jack in the Box. After my hiring, I was placed to start off as a cashier position and recently started getting more experience with taking orders. It has been a fantastic experience working there. The chemistry among my coworkers is fantastic, it’s very close to my house, the scheduling isn’t tedious at all, and I have made a couple of new friends now. Although it will be a little unfortunate I will have to leave this position for college again, the experiences from working this position will never be forgotten.
