ABOUT JORGE E. CORREA PANESSO

I am passionate about well-done science and technology that is nurtured with technique, art, and time. I believe that best inventions are born from carefully identifying needs that flourish by the hand and vision of a savvy architects with perspective on the solutions of the past and trends of the future. I am an idealist. I strongly believe that the path towards heathy and long-lasting development is the true ownership of home-made technology. Agile development and functional rapid-prototyping have guided my progress in both my academic and entrepreneurial life. I believe that the best solutions arise from the confidence of addressing relatable problems with a personal signature. This type of work has a way of gaining relevance to others in different contexts and places. From my academic parents, I wish to inherent the ability of valuing an idea by its worth. Judging it regardless its origin, by its true value. I enjoy working and coordinating with teams that are diverse in gender, background, and ages. My experience has thought me to assemble competences and leverage on their talents to produce unique solutions.I am a romantic when it comes to programming. I find myself spending a lot of time thinking about what it means. I see it as a kind of meta-writing. When you write, you imprint an idea on the paper for somebody else to reproduce it on their minds, their operating systems. When you program, you write your solution to a problem, it shows your way of weaving one action after the other, its nothing but a different written way of communicating thoughts. Programming is powerful, not only because it results in the DNA of the solution to a particular task but also because it carries with it the ability of unequivocally reproducing it. Programs take on a life of their own and that is way I instill into my collaborators that, just as in any form of art, programming must be done carefully and meticulously. My vision is that, guided by the advances in computer graphics, IIoT, and artificial intelligence, Cohesive Manufacturing grows to become a tech house for the creation of platforms that accelerate the production and commercialization of the supply chain of manufacturing goods. I wish that Cohesiva, the manufacturing network for industrial parts, becomes the application that addresses the challenges of interconnectivity and visibility that faced by the manufacturing industry across the globe.
