About Jorge Borunda
I am a five-tool player. My tool kit ranges from agriculture, car wash services, sporting goods sales representative, data entry clerk to a release analyst, but I am much more - I\'m a dreamer, a community volunteer and a team leader, and my ability to take a curveball to the opposite side has allowed me to excel in every single one of them. My professional career has taken me through a multitude of jobs, and they all had a thing in common- great customer and employee satisfaction along with strong vendor relationships can provide a great user experience all around. In the past two years, I have been fortunate to work and join a handful of teams where I have established processes to drive operational excellence, minimize the risk of software development and to support the business efficiently in a timely manner. Currently, I review operational change requests and coordinate a Technical Review Board (TRB) of six architects and engineers who approve all strategic change requests. In addition, I have created reports to drive operational excellence for changes, incidents caused/resolved by changes, prevent and mitigate development risk and teams\' improvements. I am passionate about data and I utilize it to drive teams\' behaviours but also I strive to establish strong employee satisfaction across teams. As a release analyst, I like to be proactive when it comes to risk management and not reactive to fix an issue that could have been prevented. Whatever position I am put at, you bet I will give you my best game.
