About Jordyn Middleton

I am Jordyn Middleton, a Williamson Distinguished Scholar in the Honors Carolina Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Currently, I am pursuing a double major in Human and Organizational Leadership Development and Media and Journalism, specializing in Advertising and Public Relations. I have experience working and collaborating with non-profit organizations, government entities, and small businesses. I am eager to explore opportunities in the career fields of business marketing, consulting, public relations and advertisement, and law. My goal is to gain a deep understanding of human dynamics within organizations and to conduct impactful research on social media dissemination. In the future, I strive to serve as an attorney and start my own non-profit organization. Outside of class, I love devoting time to my faith, spending quality time with loved ones, writing poetry, reading, traveling, and being creative. I am also very passionate about making a change in my community through community service. My greatest hope is to leave a legacy by making an impact inside and outside my career.

   Assist undergraduate residents in navigating their residential experience at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill• Organize and create 3 community floor informational boards, monthly programs, and wellness check-ins for 30+ residents.• Participate in weekly trainings and meetings with my residential community to discuss residents\' residential living experience and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion • Serve as a representative for Carolina Housing and ensure all residents adhere to Carolina Housing policies
