I hold a US patent for a real-time pipeline optimization system. That probably says more about how I approach engineering problems than anything else I could put here.I\'m a P.Eng with a chemical engineering degree from the University of Alberta. Most of my career has been at Venturi Engineering, working embedded with Enbridge on pipeline hydraulics and leak detection. I integrated, tested and deployed custom hydraulic monitoring systems across the majority of Enbridge\'s liquid pipeline network. The optimization work ran in parallel and eventually became the patent.For the past year and a half I\'ve been at Vista Projects in an EPC environment, doing MTO workflows, P & ID review, AVEVA E3D catalog development and process engineering support across client projects. I also led an internal initiative evaluating agentic AI for engineering workflow applications.Technical background: VMGSim, AFT Fathom, Synergi, P & ID review, SCADA systems, Python, SQL, AVEVA E3D.
