ABOUT JORDON POOLE
Born in West Yorkshire, I am currently a professional rugby player but in previous years I have worked as a Chef along side my rugby to help myself improve on and off the field. My preferred playing position is at Hooker but in my early years of rugby I did play in the back row. Before I signed as a professional rugby player I studied at Prince Henry’s grammar school doing a BTEC in sport and was part of the AASE scheme ran at the school for rugby players looking to get a taste of what it’s like to be an elite athlete. After that I worked as a chef de Partie at The Chevin Inn, situated in the middle of Menston, otley and Guiseley on West Chevin road. I have a level 2 in food and hygiene which I gained while working at the Chevin Inn. I am currently working with The RPA (Rugby players association) to gain more experience in catering and the restaurant business to hopefully one day own and work in my own restaurant.
