In my role as Compliance Counsel, I research and interpret state and federal regulations and laws to ensure that Credit Union operations, procedures, products and services meet government and industry compliance standards. I also serve as a resource for day-to-day questions presented by the Credit Union’s business lines in areas such as lending, card services and deposit services. I assist with compliance monitoring, analysis of compliance deficiencies and development of corrective action plans. Additionally, I investigate and respond to consumer complaints escalated by the CFPB, or other state/federal agencies.
