Jordan Vickers leads a team of seasoned economists in the corporate development and planning organization at Eaton (NYSE: ETN). Based out of Eaton’s North American headquarters in Beachwood, Ohio, Jordan’s primary responsibilities include global economic and industrial market research and forecasting. Eaton is a power management company made up of approximately employees, doing business in more than 175 countries. With 2023 sales of over $23.2B, Eaton\'s energy-efficient products and services help customers effectively manage electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power more reliably, efficiently, safely and sustainably. Jordan\'s primary role at Eaton is to lead economic and industry research and forecasting while helping guide Eaton\'s senior management in key planning initiatives. Jordan\'s research focuses on business and manufacturing cycle analysis and its implications for Eaton\'s key markets of electrical equipment, aerospace, and global vehicle markets. Key megatrends of electrification, energy transition, digitalization and AI data center buildout, reshoring/reindustrialization, and transportation decarbonization are the key research areas Jordan focuses on for long term planning.He also supports corporate finance with interest rate projections, FX and commodities analysis, as well as supporting the corporate m&a function. Jordan regularly presents the team\'s research, findings, and forecasts to key stakeholders, including senior management and other business partners and managers. Jordan is a member of the National Business Economic Issues Council (NBEIC), Conference of Business Economists (CBE), and the Harvard Industrial Economists group.Jordan received his bachelor of arts degree in economics and a master’s of science degree in finance from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and basketball and watching the Cleveland Browns.
