Member of the Quality Assurance section (112, formerly 512).Current projects include: Participating in a QA section-wide hardware cross-training program. Currently inspecting hardware in Electronic Inspection, including in-house custom electronics boards. Previously was in Receiving Inspection for piece-part commodities. Giving JPL tours and doing educational outreach to share the wonders of space exploration with the public.Previous projects include: Facilitated HRCR/SECR reviews for hardware delivered to ATLO on the Europa Clipper project. Wrote 25k+ words of process documentation to improve standardization. Designed and administered Jira projects and tracking systems to manage their action items. Process improvement for HRCR & SECR hardware deliveries. Applied lessons learned to standardize and improve the process across all JPL flight projects. Rewrote forms and Rules docs and creating other process documentation. Worked with developers of the new online tooling to define requirements that codify best practices. Mentored 2 high school SpaceSHIP interns, working on improvements to our delivery process for GSE (ground support equipment) across all projects at JPL. Supported QA interns and new hires during the COVID-19 pandemic, including creation of an orientation, to ensure they had an excellent experience despite the unusual circumstances. Process improvement for QARTA, the QA Requirements Tailoring Agreement process, to more appropriately meet the unique needs of higher-risk-tolerance NASA Class D missions. Helped assemble the >800 and >500 page long FDA Emergency Use Authorizations for JPL\'s VITAL COVID-19 emergency ventilator design.
