Successfully launched and managed multi-million dollar capital investment projects within facility - Designed and implemented custom automated manufacturing processes which include use of collaborative robots and vision systems - Experience operating and continually improving manufacturing processes including gun drilling machines (cannulation), sliding headstock lathes (swiss turn), centerless grinders, rotary transfer grinders, and autoloading cutter grinders (fluting) among many others- Experience with secondary operations including heat treatment, electropolishing, passivation, blasting, laser marking, and washing. Well versed in ASTM A967, A380, B912, F86, F899, and ISO 13485/9001 - Created virtual cost models used to support new business quotations to assess profitability against internal hurdle rates- Compared current and future state production profitability to assess new CAPEX purchases - Managed customer quotations of value stream future business development for upcoming product launches- Reviewed value stream capacity to identify gaps and procured new manufacturing equipment to support when needed - Continued software experience using Solidworks, Draftsight, Minitab, and Excel among others.
