About Jordan Hawkins
I’ve always loved clothes. My mom likes to share the story of how, as a kid, I would walk through stores with my arms outstretched; curious, engrossed and touching everything. Today I am fortunate to do what I love, helping companies design, develop and sell private label, branded and licensed apparel.Over the last 15+ years I have held progressive roles in the retail industry, taking on opportunities in the United States & Europe, that have helped shape me as an omni-channel retail leader.Through my experiences I’ve come to learn that I value the following…Creating Quality Product At A Great Value - The customer is incredibly savvy. They know when you get greedy or try to cut corners. Customer loyalty is hard to gain and easily lost. Put the customer first, deliver an amazing product and you’ll succeed.Developing & Leading Collaborative, Diverse, High Performing Teams - Being a leader is a privilege. I have benefited from leaders who have invested in me and I strive to help my team achieve their goals and happily celebrate their successes.Remaining Curious & Seeking New Experiences - My career path has been anything but linear. I’ve intentionally sought out roles in various facets of the apparel industry to help me learn and become more well rounded. A career is a long journey and it’s okay if it takes a little longer to reach the end destination. It’s more important to remain engaged, challenged and happy along the way.Taking Risks & Betting on Oneself - I’ve changed roles, switched companies and moved abroad… more than once. These have been some of the most formative periods in my life. Even when others can’t fully see the long term vision you have, don\'t let that stop you from pursuing your dreams. Work hard, remain humble and chase after your goals.
