About Jordan Chandler

My career in the Information Technology industry began while working as a Internet Marketing Strategist for a Montreal based Startup Company (Oceanwide.com) in the Online Freight Forwarding and Marine Insurance industry. After graduation from the John Molson School of Business (Concordia University), I was hired on full time as a Product Specialist and Account Manager. Following that, I worked as a Staff IT Auditor within the Technical Security Risk Service (TSRS) practice and Ernst and Young LLP (Canada) in their Montreal office. A year later I transferred to the San Francisco office where I executed a variety of security and risk advisory projects including Financial Audit – IT support, IT Internal Audit Services, IT Risk Management Advisory Services, SOX 404 Advisory and Audit Services, Application Controls & Security and Security Assessments. During this time I obtained the Certified Information Systems Auditor’s (CISA) certification.After 4 years in the consulting world, I accepted an offer to join Visa Inc.’s internal audit department as an IT Auditor. As an internal IT Auditor, I conducted engagements affecting Visa\'s core lines of business including: Technology, Procurement, Client Operations, Compliance, and Risk Management. Audit scopes ranged from integration of new acquisitions, core business processes and IT infrastructure within the payments processing industry. I provided detailed testing around Access Management, Encryption, Networking, Asset Management, UNIX and Windows Servers, Change Management, Disaster Recover, Mainframes (IBM z/OS), Data Security, Facility Security as well as participated in international office compliance audits. During this time also acquired the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certifications. I then worked as a Sr. IT Auditor at Stanford\'s Office of Audit, Compliance, Risk and Privacy. Currently, I work for Walmart eCommerce. I am a Legal Permanent Resident of the United States of America.
