ABOUT JORDAN MILLIKAN

The most exciting thing that I can encounter is a broken team – those whose leaders aren’t developing their junior leaders adequately, whose experts aren’t being used their fullest potential, and/or those without the structure and accountability to become a truly cohesive force to be reckoned with. My passion is developing those groups, those experts, and those junior leaders into a strong, cohesive team. I’ve done it repeatedly throughout my career, with the proudest moments coming as I got to watch my teams succeed and my mentees learn how to develop their own junior leaders. About me:Dynamic operations leader with 14+ years’ experience building strong culture, leading cross-functional and technical teams. I help groups become cohesive teams that win awards and solve complex problems.Some examples from my career: • Turned around a failing HR department into being rated as the most effective and accurate HR department in the entire US Marine Corps in the last 45 years. • Built a performance feedback system from the ground up and developed junior leaders to feel confident providing effective feedback to employees, creating a definitive culture that new-hires hailed as open, honest, and supremely supportive. • Implemented Quality and Operational Excellence Manager and developed effective Team Leads, driving Lean Manufacturing culture and Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost goals. • Led representatives from all US military branches to effectively coordinate U.S. execution during Asia’s largest multi-nation military exercise. I’m excited about opportunities where I get to develop high-performing operational teams and influence company strategic goals.
