Hi, I\'m Jordan McGillis, a fellow at the Economic Innovation Group, a Novak fellow at the Fund for American Studies, a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and a winner of a 2026 Emergent Ventures award from the Mercatus Center at George Mason University.I study industrial policy, technology, geopolitics, and trade, and was previously economics editor of the Manhattan Institute\'s City Journal magazine, an adjunct fellow at the Global Taiwan Institute, and deputy director of policy at the Institute for Energy Research.
