As an International Trade Specialist at the International Trade Administration, Office of Under Secretary, Trade Promotion Coordinating Committee Secretariat (OUS/TPCC), I play a key role in coordinating U.S. government efforts to enhance export promotion and export financing. Established under the Export Enhancement Act of 1992, the TPCC is an interagency committee chaired by the Secretary of Commerce, dedicated to developing the National Export Strategy to boost American companies\' and workers\' capabilities to sell goods and services overseas.In this role, I work closely with state and local entities to ensure small and medium enterprises, historically underrepresented businesses, and new exporters can overcome barriers to international trade. My responsibilities include leveraging U.S. Government resources to improve the competitiveness of U.S. exporters. Additionally, I collaborate with various TPCC member agencies, including the Departments of Commerce, State, Treasury, and others, to implement strategic plans and support U.S. exporters in navigating the complexities of international markets.
