ABOUT JORDAN LANE

Jordan Lane is a Canadian Architectural Technologist living in London. In 2019 he moved to London for a BIM Coordinator position at Perkins and Will. Over the past year he has been working on a high profile project which will be a new landmark in the city. Managing the design team and consultants BIM strategy has been a challenging and rewarding experience. His skills are essential for teams using Revit and collaborating online via BIM 360. Prior to moving to London, Jordan worked at Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects in Copenhagen, Denmark where he worked on the Monroe Blocks master plan project for Detroit, Michigan. His time with the company allowed him to developed his skills in Revit, BIM management, parametric design, workset and design option coordination, presentation materials, BIM Collab clash management, construction details, and Dynamo. Before he left Canada, Jordan worked as an architectural designer focusing on modern residential homes with a very talented Design/Build firm outside Toronto. Duties included client meetings leading to conceptual designs for review, schematic designs and preliminary construction details. Jordan has honed his skills using 3D design software and Photoshop to create impressive architectural visualization for client approval. Sustainability has always been at the forefront of his interests which led to a job as a LEED for homes consultant working with the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC). During his time as a sustainable building consultant, Jordan helped over 90 homes reach their LEED certification goals. The primary reasons Jordan moved to Denmark are the high standards for sustainability, architecture and furniture design that the country is known for.Jordan’s positive attitude and eagerness to expand his skills in the architectural design industry makes him a perfect candidate for residential and commercial design teams.
