RESULT: Verifiable reduction in the TRIR (total recordable incident rate) from 5.5 to 1.5 within six months. ADDRESSED stock out and overstock issues through the implementation of an enterprise resource planning software suite. RESULT: Created automated reorder points, analyzed stock levels, thus improving a 20% stock out rate to 1% and reduced inventory by 30% thus providing dramatic cost savings. ACHIEVED a cost-cutting initiative by eliminating a manufacturing location, reducing division headcount, and relocating operations to a higher yield of a production facility in California. RESULT: Reduced costs of manufacturing by $1.2M annually. DEVELOPED and EXECUTED a strategic, production order management system (ERP) to increase on-time delivery of orders, evaluate the current state of those orders, and properly tie the customer demand to a production reporting module (a facet of ERP) to decrease any human error. RESULT: Increased on-time delivery of orders from 45% to 98.5% with the first year of implementation. LED a cross-functional team of sales, manufacturing, purchasing, and inventory control professions to reduce inventory and decrease expenses.
