ABOUT JORDAN FERNANDEZ
Jordan Fernandez is currently a Senior Manager in the International Tax and Transaction Services - Global Transfer Pricing Division at Ernst & Young London (was previously with Ernst & Young Toronto). Prior to this, Jordan was 1 of 101 associates that completed the Career Launch Program at the Royal Bank of Canada - an internship which received over 3,300 applications throughout Canada. Regarding education, Jordan graduated with a Bachelors degree from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Economics and Political Science and went on to complete a Masters of Science degree at the London School of Economics (LSE) in the United Kingdom. His immediate educational interests lie in the realm of International Political Economy, or more specifically, how seemingly business or economic decisions can be motivated by social, political, or even strategic variables and vice-versa. Professionally, Jordan aspires to be in the field of consulting and more specifically within the areas that are multidisciplinary in its approach. His biggest achievement to date has been his distinction on his Masters Dissertation at the LSE, where he wrote on fixed exchange rates and the choice of anchor currency. Jordan is also keen on volunteering within his local and international communities - donating his time to help many charities and causes. He views this as an attempt to give back to those who are less fortunate to help them achieve their goals and aspirations. Jordan works to be a leader and aims to be an inspiring colleague to any team he joins. Above all, he aspires to be a global leader and a role model - an individual who will make a positive net impact in all circumstances of life.
