ABOUT JORDAN BUDNEY
As a journalism student at the University of Maryland, I am passionate about broadcast journalism and visual storytelling through videography and photography. I aspire to create truthful and engaging content by focusing on audience engagement and covering new perspectives for breaking stories. While pursuing a BA in Journalism, I am practicing my skills in on-campus publication opportunities, in-person and online internships, and specialized courses to help achieve my goals. I previously was a Digital Intern for Modern Luxury\'s New York Market where I write weekly articles recommending popular New York locations for readers to explore. I am also a staff photographer with the University of Maryland\'s independent student newspaper The Diamondback and work with Big Ten Network\'s StudentU program for UMD. Throughout my career, I am eager to gain insightful experiences through my peers and colleagues by developing beneficial techniques through hard work and dedication.
