Prepared and analyzed polymer microspheres (PLGA) and ion-based nanoparticles (prodigiosin) through drug delivery procedures to evaluate PLGA as a potential delivery vehicle for the prodigiosin, aimed at minimizing the side effects of triple negative breast cancer • Conducted 90 days of data collection and analysis through utilizing a UV-Vis Spectrophotometer to assess nanoparticle behavior and absorbances • Organized data into Excel spreadsheets to identify patterns and trends for further investigation • Currently continuing the drug delivery project by culturing Staphylococcus bacteria cells and extracting their pigment, which contains anti-cancer properties, for testing on cancerous cells
