In support of Skeena’s Social Management System, I contribute to the development and oversight of Social Impact initiatives, conduct qualitative socioeconomic research and analysis, engage with communities to strengthen relationships, and support the design and implementation of strategies that enhance social performance across the Eskay Creek Revitalization Project. This work supports Skeena’s advancement of a historic agreement with the Tahltan Central Government and the Province of British Columbia under Section 7 of DRIPA — the first-ever consent-based decision-making agreement in B.C, setting a precedent for Indigenous rights and responsible resource development.
