About Jordan Stone
There is nothing I love more than a good story. I love to hear them, I love to see them, and I especially love to tell them.I have been immersed in story telling since I was a child. There was nothing I loved more than to hear my dad’s stories from his long career in sports writing. After a while that fascination turned into passion, and a clear goal of what I wanted to do. I wanted to tell sports stories just like my dad.I decided to attend Western Washington University to explore two different paths to that goal—public relations and journalism. While at Western, I spent time doing both, doing PR work for the athletic department, and working the sports beat for the Western Front—even earning sports reporter of the quarter for winter quarter 2020.These experiences have made it even clearer that I am committed on the path I have chosen. Whether that path takes me to PR or journalism, it is about learning all that I can, to ensure that I can be the best storyteller that I can be.
