ABOUT JORDAN SMITH

I am a Business Analyst with nine years’ experience delivering complex technology change across financial services, specialising in payments, billing platforms and digital transformation. I focus on turning complex problems into scalable technology solutions that improve customer journeys, modernise legacy systems and drive operational efficiency.At allpay, I played a key role in delivering the organisation’s first B2C mobile app designed to expand financial access for underbanked communities. I led analysis across the initiative, defining requirements, working with engineering teams and integrating third-party providers for identity verification and data services. Alongside this, I supported wider payment transformation initiatives including the migration of legacy host applications into a centralised Payments Hub, the move to Azure Cloud infrastructure and the delivery of new payment capabilities such as Pay By Link, Virtual Bill Payment Cards and Confirmation of Payee.Now at esure, I work on the EIS Billing Core platform as part of the organisation’s broader digital transformation programme. My role involves delivering enhancements to billing and payment capabilities and supporting a major migration programme to move insurance products from Ageas onto the esure platform. This requires detailed analysis of billing behaviour, payment plans, policy lifecycle events and system integrations to ensure a smooth and compliant transition.I thrive in collaborative environments where ideas can be challenged constructively and decisions are guided by data and customer value. My experience spans Agile and Waterfall delivery, with strengths in stakeholder engagement, requirements definition and translating complex business needs into clear, actionable outcomes.
