I look forward to future opportunities within the NHS and to broadening my horizons in the UK healthcare system.I am an MBBS graduate from India, currently working as a Trust Doctor (Foundation Year 2) in Urology at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust, a major teaching hospital and regional trauma centre. In this role, I am involved in inpatient ward care, peri-operative management, and assessment of acute urological presentations, working closely with consultants, registrars, and multidisciplinary teams while developing competencies aligned with the UK Foundation Programme.My clinical experience spans a multidisciplinary FY1-equivalent internship with rural emergency medicine exposure, junior doctor work in a high-volume cardiology department, GP clinics, and multiple NHS attachments prior to my current SHO role. These roles strengthened my ability to manage acute and chronic patients, prioritise, escalate, and remain composed in high-pressure environments.Alongside clinical practice, I have led clinical audits across three full cycles, designed and delivered an international teaching programme on Clinical Acumen to over 200 students, and contributed as joint-first author, corresponding author, and co-author on three original research papers, presenting one at an international conference. These experiences reflect my commitment to evidence-based care, clinical governance, and effective communication.Academically, I have worked as a Medical Tutor, mentored junior students, and completed training in emergency care, research, and teaching, alongside workshops on subjects ranging from geriatrics to AI in healthcare.During my undergraduate training, I served as President of my University and Campus Ambassador for the Indian Geriatric Association, winning the Best Ambassador in the Nation Award.
