About Jordan Rapp

I like interesting problems. I suppose I should say something more grandiose than that, but it really is that simple. For over a decade, I ran around (and rode my bike) in a bathing suit, but really I just was solving a pretty complex systems optimization problem in real time. Ultra-distance triathlon is less a race and more a whole lot of on-the-fly decision making. I retired from sport and fell into game design, but all of the most interesting problems were in engineering. So that\'s where I half-ended up and half-forced myself into by simply being stubborn and full of grit. I like to take things apart. And I like to put them back together. Sometimes changed. Sometimes not. I really just like knowing how things work. That way, I can solve bigger, harder, and - of course - even more interesting problems.
