I litigate real estate, insurance and shareholder disputes, but my clients call me with problems, legal or otherwise, and I get those problems fixed. And if I can’t, I find someone who can. In my real estate practice, I litigate deals gone wrong, construction disputes, land use matters, zoning appeals, lease disputes and other matters where real property lies at the heart of the case.In my insurance practice, I litigate coverage disputes and counsel policyholders during the claims process. I have a unique expertise in cyberinsurance and host the longest-standing blog devoted exclusively to cyberinsurance coverage law business owners no longer see eye to eye, I am a zealous advocate who nevertheless understands that the best business divorce results are often not obtained in court. With and without the court’s assistance, I have dissolved companies, liquidated real estate and other assets, negotiated buyouts and worked with owners, receivers and judges on operational and wind-down matters.I have tried cases to verdict, successfully, but very few of my cases get to that point.
