Engineering - Design Release Engineer @General Motors

DRE within the steering team, releasing Active Rear Steer actuators and I-shafts for the GM electric vehicle platform. My role is to ensure ARS and I-shafts are released on time to meet our vehicle program timing. Along with leading product development meetings with our suppliers, I also interface directly with the assembly plant. I work with the plant to ensure parts that are used are to GM specifications, that they can be assembled correctly, and that the operator can perform the assembly process safely in vehicle during regular production.
