ABOUT JORDAN N.
Currently working in the Governance and Peace Directorate at the Commonwealth Secretariat, at Marlborough House in Westminster. The GPD is responsible for CHOGM, CFAMM, CMAG and other high level Commonwealth events, as well as policy direction and assistance across the 56 member states and Commonwealth accredited organisations. I work in both the Secretary-General\'s Good Offices section engaging in quiet diplomacy with member states, as well as the Caribbean section, supporting our 12 Caribbean member states, and Canada. I work closely with both the Secretary-General and the Assistant Secretary-General to ensure the Commonwealth is working toward the goals set out in the Commonwealth Charter. This includes design and facilitation of democracy enhancing projects, international mission planning, and both brief and speech writing. I formerly worked for the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council, working on the CHOGM/CBF programme team, both in Westminster and Kigali. Speakers and guests at CBF 2022 included HRH King Charles the British Prime Minister, and the Prime Ministers of Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Jamaica, and both the PM and President of Rwanda. I hold a distinction classified MA in International Relations and Global Security, a BA (Hons) in Geography and International Relations, and I am a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (FRGS).
