ABOUT JORDAN K.
Jordan is a graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law where he graduated magna cum laude and earned two separate certificates: one in Cybersecurity and Crisis Management and the other in Intellectual Property. Jordan has a strong interest in national security law, communications law, antitrust law, as well as all things related to technology law, including cybersecurity, data privacy, surveillance techniques, AdTech, biometrics, and de-identification. Through his various experiences as a congressional staffer, law clerk for the Senate Judiciary Committee and FCC, legal intern for Under Armour, ABA Antitrust Ambassador, and most recent role at the Future of Privacy Forum, Jordan continues to learn more about various sectors of the law.Some of his experiences include analyzing and implementing recommendations for China\'s PIPL, including cross border data transfers; compiling newsletters detailing trends in AdTech; researching and reporting on antitrust investigations into big tech; assessing privacy implications of data retention programs; summarizing and analyzing FCC NPRMs and Reports & Orders; and assisting Senate staff for Senate Judiciary Committee hearings on a variety of topics.
