Forecasts, sets, and monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)• Prepares action plans to implement productivity, reliability, and customer service standards across each nursery location. Establishes effective follow-up procedures to ensure accountability and set standards.• Ensures the effectiveness of crop and environmental risk management plans.• Monitors nurseries for adherence to crop and work plans throughout the year.• Conduct regular analysis and evaluation of nursery performance in addition to regular site visits and crop inspections. Works with the nursery team to identify barriers to achievement of reliability or productivity targets.• Checks the identification and assessment of crop damage, losses and reliability issues, participates in root-cause analysis through a collaborative problem solving approach with nursery personnel and works to develop mutually agreed upon solutions.• Adopts and promotes a culture of lean management and continuous improvement by seeking opportunities to reduce waste and gain efficiencies. Identifies and develops productivity systems that can be clearly defined and repeated.• Facilitates annual crop review meetings to assess the success and failure of the previous years crops, develops action plans for the year ahead.• Meets financial objectives of the region by analyzing and approving draft, anchor, and operational budgets and work plans relative to capital expenditures, labour, and other resources.• Monitors expenditures throughout the year to ensure nurseries stay on budget, mitigate overspending, and implement plans for cost savings or cost recovery when needed.• Ensures all capital is employed in a responsible manner that achieves the best return on investment for PRT.• Works with Nursery Managers to identify nursery staff training needs in the core functions of the job(s) to meet the organization\'s strategic objectives (technical, financial, and operational).
