About Jordan Hankins
As a sophomore at Prince George\'s Community College, I am passionate about pursuing a career in managerial/ financial accounting. I am currently an Audit Tax Intern at EY, one of the leading professional services firms, where I apply my analytical and presentation skills to assist with various tax audit projects. I am also an Account executive at EMG Inc, a financial services company, where I develop my entrepreneurial and marketing skills by promoting and selling to investors. In my fall semester I participated in an immersive internship called Project Destined where I am learning the fundamentals of commercial real estate and how companies are developed on both a business and financial scale within the economy, with this knowledge it has inspired me to also pursue International Business and attain knowledge on Hedge funds and Private equity. In addition to my internship experiences, I am the CEO of my own delivery service, Efficient Express, which I founded in 2020. I manage the daily operations, finances, and customer relations of my business, which provides fast and reliable delivery services to individuals and businesses in the DMV area. I have successfully grown my business from a one-man operation to a team of 5 drivers, serving over 45 clients per month. I am also part of a leadership group called Diverse Male Student Initiative, where I receive rigorous mentorship and leadership training to pursue and conquer all accolades. I plan on taking the CPA/CMA exam and gaining my certification and Masters in accounting within the next two years, and expanding my businesses and knowledge within international business and HedgeFunds. I am motivated by challenges, opportunities, and learning, and I strive to excel in everything I do.
