About Jordan Gurwitz
I\'m an alumnus of the University of Alabama. I graduated Cum Laude in December 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Information Sciences in Public Relations with a Minor in Communication Studies. I am currently pursuing my Master’s of Professional Studies in Sports Industry Management at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. Additionally, I am working as a Communications Associate at the MLS Players Association. My recent experiences include working as a Graduate Marketing Assistant with Georgetown Athletics and as a Promotions and Events Intern with the Washington Nationals for the 2023 MLB Season. I am seeking opportunities to help further grow my skills in the public relations and communications field that will prepare me for a full time job opportunity. My past experiences include working with the City of San Antonio Municipal Government in the Summer of 2019 as a Public Affairs Intern and at GM Financial as a Communications Intern in the Summer of 2022. Music education is something that I\'m very passionate about. I believe in the unique power of music education to help teach life lessons and skills that can’t be taught in the traditional classroom. I played the French Horn for 12 years and marched Mellophone in the Alamo Heights High School Mighty Mule Marching Band and the University of Alabama Million Dollar Band for 8 total years. I love working with people and helping them see their full potential. My various roles in my college fraternity Alpha Epsilon Pi helped me further harness these skills in a real world setting.
