Focus on fit for purpose engineering and solutions. Lead the design review process with internal and external stakeholders ensuring code and Enbridge specifications, standards and procedures are followed. Ensure designs are sound and reviewed from a Process Hazard operability and constructibility perspective.Manage the specification and requisition of materials. Provide input for permitting (eg. equipment specifications, plot plans, centreline, survey boundaries, etc.). Act as Engineering control account manager for internal and external budget, schedule and technical objectives. Provide planning and scheduling for design and procurement phases of the projects. Specify the hydrates pressure requirements and review and validate the associated records. Manage engineering firms to incorporate red-line markups into as-built drawings for all projects. Provide technical support during all project phases, including the review of proposed field changes to the engineering design and responding to engineering related RFIs. Plan survey work during detailed design, including Geotech and early civil survey.
