About Jordan Geerts

I\'ve built a working knowledge of HR from the ground up through hands-on experience in full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and HRIS platforms like UKG, Workday, and ADP, including helping implement an ATS at Renewal by Andersen. I\'ve also done a fair amount of compliance work building out filing systems that meet OSHA standards, processing background checks, and making sure documentation stays accurate and up to date. I like work that has both a people component and a process component to it. I\'m currently building toward my aPHR and have certifications in Google Analytics, Generative AI, and Project Management. I\'m looking to grow into a well-rounded HR role where I can keep developing on both the operational and compliance sides of the work.

Prepared new hire orientation paperwork packets, including employment forms, tax documents, benefits and insurance enrollments, and emergency contact information to make onboarding more efficient. Performed 200+ background checks on potential hires, verifying employment history, education, and criminal records to help bring in trustworthy team members. Assisted with the implementation of a customized ATS (JobTarget) by collaborating with sales and engineering teams to build a tailored programmatic job advertising solution.
