Jordan Geary is an Emmy Award-winning creative producer, author and executive with over 20 years of experience in television and media, specializing in family and children’s content. As the Senior Creative Producer of Current Series at Sesame Workshop, he helped shape iconic live-action and animated shows, including Ghostwriter and Helpsters for Apple TV+, Sesame Street Mecha Builders and Bea’s Block for HBO Max, and over 300 Sesame Studios shorts for YouTube. With a career marked by innovation and storytelling expertise, Jordan earned the Emmy for Outstanding Children\'s and Family Viewing Series and numerous other accolades.    Oversaw the production and creative pipelines for all of Sesame Workshops new long and short form productions, including multiple seasons of series such as Sesame Street Mecha Builders, Bea’s Block and Charlotte\'s Web for HBO Max, Ghostwriter and Helpsters for Apple TV+, hundreds of videos for Sesame Studios on YouTube Kids, and numerous other projects for Sesame Street.• Won an Emmy in 2020 as the Creative Producer for Ghostwriter for Apple+, making history as the first time a distributor won an Emmy in its first year of eligibility. Ghostwriter won in the overall Best Children’s and Family Viewing category.• Acted as proxy for SVPs and VPs of Creative Development, Live Action Production and Animation Production departments as needed, as well as chief liaison both externally with distribution and production partners, and internally with numerous departments within Sesame Workshop.• Applied Diversity and Inclusion focus to team development, operational decision-making, talent development, vendor/partner selection across productions.• Acquired new creative talent for the company, including the creation of databases of artists, writers and production companies to bring the quality people have come to expect from new Sesame Workshop content.• Created a standardized pipeline for animation productions, to ensure better efficiencies, standardized processes, sharing of resources, and increased collaboration across departments.• Presented as the Sesame Workshop production representative at numerous in-person and virtual festivals, as well as several onscreen interviews for Helpsters in support of series launch.
