Cullen Consultancy is an independent consultancy practice specialising in providing building/quantity surveying and estimating services in relation to the construction industry with a particular focus in the substructure & superstructure areas.Services include and are not limited to the following :Key Duties include :• Specialising in all aspects of commercial related tasks related to substructure area of construction -civils (tunneling & shafts), RC frame, groundworks, ground investigation & Waterproofing/hazardous gases. • Production & issue of detailed quotations for projects from BOQ, specifications & drawings.(Fullmeasure take off required to allow the aforementioned)• Production & issue of sub-contractor tender packages for issue, review & award includingnegotiations of labour & materials.• Meticulous review, amendment & negotiation of contracts (ICC, JCT, NEC 3 & 4)• Punctual and professional attendance to pre-starts, site team meetings & management in both site & office environments (technical operatives/commercial department)• Concise document control (paperwork/digital)- production & issue of H&S: Risk Assessment /Method Statements, Quality Assurance Sheets, Operations & Maintenance Manuals• Issuing of Early Warning Notices, Compensation Events, Contract Instructions & Site Variations• Accurate production & Issue of Monthly Valuation / Invoicing and Successful Final Account negotiating• Production of commercial & construction monthly forecasts and CVRS, analysing and advisement toappropriate people of risks & value• Diligently and effectively collecting & controlling cash flow• Forecast & resolve any potential risks commercial & contractuallyKey Achievements include:• Lead cost & Quality engineer for waterproofing to Vent shafts 1 & 2 - High Speed Rail 2• Contracts for Tier 1,2 & 3 Contractors• Direct implementation of 27million civil package• Contribution to various SME increase in sales/profit or reduction in expenditure.
