ABOUT JORDAN CONWAY

With 7.5 years of experience within the architectural field, my career has allowed me to grow as a designer across all phases of the design process and in multiple market sectors, including Healthcare, Education, Civic, and Interior Design. I specialize in architectural design, and my primary roles under that umbrella focus in code analysis, project detailing, and project delivery. In terms of project delivery, I have functioned in a support role in construction administration teams for many mid to large scale healthcare providers, helping oversee the delivery of cancer centers, rehabilitation hospitals, and comprehensive hospital campuses. In more recent years, I have functioned as a primary point of contact for construction administration with medium sized higher education providers. These experiences afforded me ample opportunities to develop skills in client engagement, code official engagement, creative problem solving in the field, and familiarizing myself with the realities of construction & detailing. My experience in earlier design phases include K-12, higher education, civic work, and healthcare.In addition to the official responsibilities of my growing roles over time, I have consistently functioned as a J.E.D.I.(Justice.Equity.Diversity.Inclusion) agent in my firm and local community. This includes leading presentations on the interplay of resilient project design with J.E.D.I. goals, helping schedule and provide architectural mentorship for POC students within the DFW metroplex, clarifying the intent and steps in fostering an inclusive work environment for my colleagues, and partnering with local community leaders to ensure equitable access to high-quality design services.
