ABOUT JORDAN BLANTON
I began my career as a classroom teacher, where I learned that the most important decisions in education are the ones that directly impact students every day.From the classroom to elementary principal and now incoming Chief Business Official, my leadership has always been grounded in student success, equity, and long-term sustainability. Leading a small rural school strengthened my ability to align culture, MTSS systems, and academic priorities while navigating the realities of leadership instability, limited student support resources, and state receivership.That experience led me to school finance. I became increasingly driven to understand and improve the systems that shape opportunity for years to come.As a CBO, I bring an instructional leader’s lens to fiscal strategy. I believe financial stewardship and student achievement are inseparable. My focus is on building resilient systems, aligning resources to priorities, and ensuring today’s decisions protect the next generation.
