I have been fortunate to work in some of the most challenging schools in the North East of England and can proudly say that all I have worked in are now good or outstanding. Some particularly rewarding experiences have been taking schools from special measures to good in a rapid timeframe. My leadership experience has been extensive in the North East specialising in the pastoral aspect of school improvement. I am now very lucky to be Principal and find it the most rewarding job, seeing the life chances and outcomes for young people radically improve.
