WORK HISTORY
Operations Advisor Consultant @Dynamic Race Events
A senior advisor and consultant to Dynamic Race Events management team on production, event safety and long term strategic development. Additionally, I support the framework and staff for volunteer services, ongoing community projects, and support/manage race day operations (as a consultant) for a number of events in Dynamic\'s race series. Dynamic Race Events is an independently owned Canadian race production company, focusing on local, crafted, community race experiences. Started in 2015, the team of industry veterans, volunteers, and event professionals has built upon and continued the success of established triathlons while opening up race opportunities for athletes in new markets. It has become the largest independent triathlon race series in Western Canada.

ABOUT JORDAN MYERS
He/Him) Concisely… I’m a helper.I count my professional time in dog years. With each event compressing lessons into experience. Over 20+ years, I’ve worked at the intersection of public safety, emergency management, and event production to build community resilience at scale. From black tie to tie-dye, I’ve supported Olympic stadiums, parades, stadium shows, and music festivals through to grassroots art projects, high-risk protests, and mass-participation sporting events. I’ve led through multiple concurrent incidents and mass-casualty events, translating strategy and policy into field-ready operations, risk registers, HVM measures, crowd management plans, and control-room decisions.Fluent across disciplines, I move between systems and sectors—connecting creative, operational, and academic worlds. My work is built on multiplicity: integrating design thinking with emergency planning, theory with action, and structure with empathy.Alongside operations, I help shape practice and policy—co-authoring major-event guidelines, chairing and speaking at conferences, and training public-sector teams and private contractors (security and medical). My academic focus explores leadership, culture, public policy and frameworks, strategic risk, and AI integration—linking theory to real-world decision-making under pressure.Specialties- Multi-agency consensus-builder across police, fire, EMS, private security, transit, and city partners- Emergency management & incident command (ICS-400; JESIP-aligned; Bronze–Silver–Gold)- Security–medical integration & crowd safety (L5) for high-complexity events, protests, and fan zones- HRVA & threat intelligence; ingress/egress & surge mitigation; HVM planning; post-event AARs- Policy contributor & educator (guidelines, workshops, conference chair/mentor)- Calm, clear, community-minded leadership—boardroom, control room, or live ops
