About Jordan Armoogan

Growing up, I always loved using my creative skills to benefit organizations I cared about. From my local church to my college food pantry, I created posters, banners, and social media content to support organizations that reflect my values. I eventually realized that my passion for promoting organizations could translate into an impactful career.My passion led me to pursue the communications and public relations field at SUNY New Paltz, where I started to learn how to use my skills strategically. I maintained the New Paltz Food Pantry Instagram page throughout the pandemic. I created event posters as a Social Media Chair for multicultural clubs. Also, I shot and edited TikTok and Instagram videos as a SUNY New Paltz Social Media Intern. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with distinction from the Communications department. I received my B.A. in Communications Studies, concentrating in Public Relations.I continued my journey at NYU’s School of Professional Studies, pursuing an M.S. in Public Relations and Corporate Communications. I aim to leverage my education and experience to contribute to the growth and success of innovative and inclusive organizations.
