Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Crisis Evaluator and Individual/ Family Therapist with a passion for helping people achieve emotional and relational wellbeing at every stage of life. Currently working as a part-time therapist at my small private practice, Self-Connection Counseling, founded July 2024, and as a full-time crisis triage therapist at CU Boulder. Experienced clinician in acute crisis management, de-escalation, counseling on access to lethal means, suicide prevention, MI, CBT, ACT, DBT and interpersonal therapeutic techniques. Trained in trauma-informed practices including Cognitive Processing Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and trauma-informed CBT. As a former secondary English-Language Arts teacher, I also recognize the importance of strong mental healthcare and social-emotional education across the lifespan.
