ABOUT JOANNE R.

I am a Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner with over 30 years’ experience across a wide range of business domains and enterprise environments. I’ve spent the last fifteen years in highly agile, delivery focused environments for various FTSE 100 & 250 companies and prior to that I worked on largely waterfall projects in a Big 4 consultancy.I have a highly successful track record working with stakeholders across the business from software developers to CxOs. I am known for my attention to detail and ability to elicit complex business requirements for translation into technical specifications. I have extensive experience of applying business process management techniques to develop AS-IS / TO-BE processes whilst also acting as a bridge between business and IT communities to ensure smooth project delivery. I’ve worked across a number of industry sectors including professional services, e-commerce, scientific, media / automotive and price comparison. Whilst I don’t sell myself as a technical analyst, I’m experienced in working closely with development teams and I’m very comfortable with SQL, modelling JSON and using Postman to interact with REST APIs. Before moving into business analysis, I worked as a Test Lead for eight years and Project Manager for two years.
