About Joon-Seong Lee
As a member of Accenture’s AI & Data Global Leadership team based in New York, Joon-Seong drives front-office AI across industries while leading end-to-end, AI-driven reinvention in Financial Services. He is also responsible for developing differentiating assets and offerings, scaling advanced AI talent, and establishing ecosystem partnerships in this space. He is a member of Accenture\'s Global Leadership Council.Prior to New York, Joon Seong was based in Singapore and led Accenture\'s Center for Advanced AI for the APAC region and Data & AI business in Southeast Asia. He was also a member of the Southeast Asia Executive Committee and APAC/Growth Markets Operating Committee.Over the years, he has led award-winning, multi-year data & AI transformations at several leading enterprises in Asia and championed the first-in-the-world responsible AI initiative at the Monetary Authority of Singapore. He spearheaded the launch of the first Gen AI Studio and AI Refinery Engineering Hub in Singapore, with support from Singapore\'s Economic Development Board.He contributed to Singapore\'s technology development by serving as Vice President of the Singapore Computer Society (SCS) AI & Robotics Chapter. He co-authored the inaugural AI Ethics & Governance Body of Knowledge, sponsored by SCS and Singapore\'s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA). He is also among the first certified experts in AI Ethics & Governance in Singapore and a member of the SCS\' AI Ethics and Governance Evaluation Board. He serves as an Advisory Board Member of the Engineering Systems and Design (ESD) Pillar at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and as a Board Member of iShine Cloud Limited.In recognition of his long-standing contributions to Singapore\'s tech industry, he was conferred the prestigious Fellow title by SCS in 2024. He holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD and received his AI training from MIT and the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI).
