Water treatment expert with extensive industry experience in public (MWD of So Cal), private (Carollo, Psomas, Montrose), academic (UCLA, UCR), and technology fields. Global Water Practice Division is an environmental service and engineering group with clients in public and private sectors for a number of emerging issues including PFAS, 1,2,3 TCP, chromium, arsenic, selenium, nitrate, and wastewater including TSS, BOD / COD, nitrogen.Developed single-use media technology for water and wastewater (ion exchange brine / RO concentrate) treatment at Caltech and currently responsible for Global Water Practice with design, build, finance, own, and operate service for water and wastewater market. Also engaged in helping to commercialize innovative water and wastewater treatment technologies, especially for small communities and industrial facilities. Responsible for new business pursuits and directly contributed in bringing and managing various water and wastewater treatment projects as a project manager, R&D lead, and project director with major consulting firms. Also served as a technical reviewer for the National Arsenic Water Tech Partnership program sponsored by the Department of Energy and Sandia National Lab and as a reviewer for the EPA’s federal Arsenic Demo Program.Particularly interested in cleantech innovation and technology commercialization for water and energy technologies using public private partnership (P3) model including alternative project delivery, turn key arrangement with engineering, construction, operation, and project financing.
