Leading and growing a grassroots movement, now 75 local organisations and 1,200 volunteer groups, delivering placemaking, inclusion and green transport projects- Working with board, team, members and partners to create and bring to life our first strategy, with a clear vision, and ambitious aims to realise our greater potential- Developing and building the organisation through major change, from five staff, few systems and no strategy when appointed, to a flourishing, professional, effective team of 23, with a can-do culture, extensive work programme, and strong governance- Forging productive partnerships with government, industry and the third sector – influencing thinking and policy, and strengthening our support and clout- Engaging and influencing policy-makers, industry decision-makers and third sector leaders, to build a supportive environment for community rail, and push for more sustainable, inclusive transport, with communities at the centre- Increasing funding and sustainability despite economic pressures, achieving major new grants and sponsors, robust financial planning and risk management
