Newly created role to support more effective and successful delivery of Rail projects. This is a two year contract (ending Jan 2026) to set up and lead the Business Support, Quality Assurance and Capability Development teams. Together, we work to enable front line teams to win, design, build and service market leading solutions for our clients. By designing and implementing the right processes, reporting frameworks and support services, our role is to ensure the front line teams can get on with their jobs, right first time. Over the last two years my team has set up Rail\'s project reporting processes, an ISO9001-compliant audit and assurance programme, continuous improvement programme, early careers programme, business acumen and other skills development programmes, new timecard recording system and multiple other process improvements. We also run the Rail unit\'s communications which has included setting up an intranet site and document library, induction process, monthly business unit newsletters and town hall sessions as well as supporting the Rail leadership\'s strategy development and deployment. This has supported a turnaround in business performance, driving significant growth in Rail\'s profitability.
