About Jon Wright

With more than 20 years of suburban and rural firefighting experience, Jon is a seasoned fire professional. From bread-and-butter structure fires to multi-section grass/brush fires to complex oil and gas fires, he has experienced a significant variation of fire types. Jon maintains a focus on modern fire strategies and tactics and adjusting them to meet the needs of his department operations. He is passionate about training, whether teaching the newest tactics or sharing his experiences. Jon’s background and experience doesn’t stop at fire service. He spent over 20 years with a very large retailer in both store operations and corporate management. Jon had responsibility for leading call center operations for the company, supporting most every aspect of the company’s business. He has a proven track record of driving quality, efficiency, and success.
